Plumbers, HVAC Company Helping Search For Missing Mall Python

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (WAFB) – A 12-foot Burmese python had still not been located at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday after escaping from its enclosure inside the Mall of Louisiana.

The snake was housed inside the Blue Zoo, an interactive aquarium inside the mall.

The Blue Zoo remained closed on Wednesday.

The managers posted the following message on their Facebook page on Wednesday morning:

“Friends, as our day and night search for Cara continues, we want to give you a quick update. We have brought in several snake experts to help with the search, in addition to a tracker. animals that work with us all evening and night. Local firefighters and police searched with us for several hours during the day yesterday. We bought night vision cameras to see more difficult areas, in addition to several motion sensor cameras. We have hired a company that uses infrared, in addition, local plumbing and HVAC companies continue to run cameras in all possible openings and small areas. We also have sources warmth and food to attract him and a waiting vet. Plus our animal care and guest relations teams have been amazing, working day and night.
