GPRC Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness has been in Early Access for about six weeks now, and during that time the studio has been pushing about 12 major updates focused on community feedback. Today’s addition of Mac and Linux support is one such update, meeting a long demand from the community.

The GrapeOcean Technologies team has mainly focused on early access user feedback, and the addition of Mac and Linux support is a “big step” in that regard, according to director and founder David Zakal via a Press release.

The addition of Mac and Linux support for Black Geysers marks a big milestone for the game. It was one of our first Kickstarter promises, and we wanted to do it right. Coupled with our updates that continue to make significant improvements, we make sure to listen to our community and prioritize their feedback.

The update that hit today not only adds support for new operating systems, but also improves performance, as well as party mechanics, such tweaks revive depending on the difficulty with which You play. Additionally, the tracking has been improved when using a formation, preventing party members from rushing up walls when following the command.

Black geyser is a tactical CRPG reminiscent of traditional PC RPGS, with tactical combat, isometric view, and the ability to create a custom hero from 13 different classes and 5 races. You can check out the CRPG in Early Access on Steam.
